課程概述 |
Hydraulic engineering is the application of fluid mechanics principles, other science and engineering disciplines in the development of structures, projects, and systems involving water. The main aim of this course is to teach the basic theories of open channel flows, pipe flows, water distribution and allocation, etc. Students are expected to understand the primary issue in analysis and design of civil engineering hydraulic systems. For some topics, personal laptops are needed in class. Please be reminded one of the goals for this class is to foster the skills needed to be self-taught learners. Not all of the information that you need to know will be presented in lecture. It is presumed that you are acquiring some through your own reading and study. In addition, you will be encouraged to refine your professional style of solving problems and presenting solutions in excellent written form. |
